안녕하세요 이번에 Mount St. Mary’s 신학교에, 알링턴 교구 소속 신학생으로 들어가게 된 이동한 다니엘입니다. 초등학생 때 세례를 받고 처음으로 신부님이 되고 싶었던 꿈을 안고 살아왔습니다. 많은 우여곡절이 있었지만, 어머니와 많은 신자 분들이 기도를 해주신 덕에 드디어 신학교에 들어가게 되었습니다. 신학교 들어갔다고 자만하지 않고 끝까지 겸손한 마음으로 많은 걸 배워서 오겠습니다. 지금까지 기도해 주신 분들께 감사드리고 끝까지 응원해 주시면 감사하겠습니다.

I am Donghan Lee, Daniel, who recently accepted by Diocese of Arlington as a seminarian and will be attending Mount St. Mary’s Seminary. I had a dream of becoming a Catholic priest since I was 6th grade. With many ups and downs and prayers from my mother and many parishioners, I finally made it to the seminarian position. Although I got into the seminary, I will learn with modesty since this is only the beginning of my journey toward the priesthood. Thank you for all people who have prayed for me so far, I will still need more prayers.

이효빈 바오로 Paul Rhee

안녕하세요, 이번에 식학교에 입학하게 된 이효빈 바오로입니다. 올해 초에 신학교 입학원서를 제출할 쯤에 COVID-19이 시작되어서 걱정을 많이 했습니다. 그렇지만 지금은 새로운 삶의 시작에 대한 희망으로 가득차 있습니다. 지금은 여러모로 많이 부족하지만, 입학 후 학업과 기도에 전념하겠습니다. 저를 위해 기도해 주시고 후원해 주신 백신부님, 강신부님, 방신부님, 저의 부모님, 가족들과 주교님께 감사드립니다. 저와 이동한 다니엘신학생을 위해 기도해 주시면 저희에게 큰힘이 되겠습니다.

I am very excited to start this new chapter of life. I am very grateful to my parents, family, priests, SPC, and bishop for helping and praying for me. I was a little scared because COVID-19 happened right when I started applying, but I am very happy that it all worked out. Now I just want to get started and can't wait to go to the seminary. I am excited about people, learning, praying, and just growing closer in my relationship with God. I truly do All the years I will be there are meant to help me become a Saint and hopefully a priest one day. believe God is calling me to become a priest and discern at the seminary. Please pray for Donghan and I because we really do need your prayers.
