On January 24th to 26th, CYO students and teachers went on a ski trip to Hidden Valley Resort, PA. Students bonded with each other through games and helping each other getting back up when they fell during ski and snowboarding. Father Kang and youth council officers also came and celebrated mass together with the CYO students. Students all had a safe and fun time on the ski trip!

I really loved how everyone bonded with each other in God’s name during the entire trip. We had so much fun skiing and snowboarding all day and I appreciate all that the teachers did to make this possible. Overall, I had a lot of fun and I would definitely recommend going to the CYO ski trip next year.

As my last ski trip, I had many mixed emotions. I was happy with the bonds I created with others throughout the entire trip and the laughs we had in the games. I was sad about the fact that I realized that I want to be able to come to another ski trip again and the memories I’ve made will just remind me of all the good times I’ve had for the past four years. Throughout these four years, I’ve had no regrets. Every time I fell down, I got back up, every time I laughed with others I created a bond, and every time I was happy it was a memory I would remember for life. I hope that people can know that CYO is a place that creates bonds, memories, and happiness that you can cherish just like all the memories I’ve made with many people through my four years of CYO.

This was my first year going to a ski trip but it was an amazing experience. I got to make a lot of great memories during the trip, and snowboarding and hanging out at the lodge was really fun. Thanks to all the people who went and made it really fun. I would definitely go again.
